Who is First Christian Church?

Who We Are:
First Christian Church began meeting in 1869 in a building off the south corner of Columbus, Kansas' square. In 1871, under the leadership of Elder J. A. Murray, First Christian Church became an official institution and house of worship. The first official church building (pictured here) was established on July 18, 1880.
First Christian is a missional church that seeks to extend God's kingdom by doing the will of the Father on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10).
