Whose Face is on Your Screen [Matthew 22:15-22]
When Jesus said, "Give, then, to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s" (Matthew 22:21, CSB), He wasn't being vague for no reason. He wasn't teaching a strict separation of Church and State. Instead, He was asking a much deeper question than they were: Whose image do you bear? In today's sermon, Pastor Cody walks us through Matthew 22:15-22. He helps us see that Christ goes far beyond political debates and divisions and gets to the heart of the issue. Just as a coin bears the image of the authority that minted it, we all bear the image of the living God in us every day. Find out what it means to truly belong to God and how that can transform your life day in and day out. #biblestoriesexplained #disciplesofchrist #imageofgod #matthew22 #WhoseImage

Evicted by the Cornerstone (Matthew 21:33-46)
Have you ever thought of yourself as a steward or manager of God's kingdom? Some think this is the job of the pastor or other church leaders. However, Jesus points out that if leaders don't manage His kingdom well, He will take it from them and give it to those who will. If you want to know how to be a better steward of God's kingdom, then join us as Pastor Cody walks us through Matthew 21:33-46. #bibleparable #disciplesofchrist #kingdomliving #kingdomstewardship #matthew21

Hired at Happy Hour [Matthew 20:1-16]
Have you ever felt that God's grace was unfair? Some people struggle with the notion of God's grace because we live in a merit-based society. We want to believe that the good we do will earn us God's grace and, therefore, bring us salvation. Yet, is that really how it works? If you are wondering and struggling with the notion of God's grace, join us as Pastor Cody walks us through one of Jesus' most powerful parables on God's grace and, therefore, the Kingdom of Heaven in action. #bibleparable #disciplesofchrist #graceofchrist #grace #matthew20

The King's Grace [Matthew 18:21-35]
As Christians, we tend to struggle a lot with forgiving. Either we feel like those who hurt us need to sit in their sin. Others are too afraid to confront the one who hurt them. Some even don't really know what forgiveness is or how to give it. Some think only God can forgive. If this is you, then you're not alone. Join us as Pastor Cody walks us through Matthew 18:21-35. #bibleteaching #disciplesofchrist #forgiveness #forgiving #matthew18

Crumbs that Won a Crown [Matthew 15:21-28]
Have you ever felt like an outsider in your own story? Maybe you feel like nothing more than a face in a sea of faces. When you turn to God for assistance, it feels the same way, like He doesn't seem to care or that He is ignoring you. SPOILERS!!! He doesn't act like that. God does care, and He does love you. To see how, join us today as we look closely at Matthew 15:21-28 and the story of Jesus and the Canaanite woman. #biblestory #disciplesofchrist #canaanitewoman #jesusauthority #matthew15
